Nursing Services

Nursing Supports are provided to all individuals involved in our Residential and Day/Vocational programs. Each individual is assigned a primary nurse to oversee his or her medical and therapeutic needs. The nurse also instructs non-licensed staff in the administration of medications as well as other treatments or therapies that the person requires to maintain or achieve optimum health and well-being. In addition, Quality Assurance nurses review residential services on a regular basis.

The nurse is an integral part of the individual's team, attending team meetings and participating in the development of individual service plans. Nurses are also available on a consulting basis to advise other team members on any medical concerns or nursing needs for those who are not served by Residential or Day/Vocational programs.
